How often do friends flirt with each other?

My female friends and I flirt alot. I really thought it was harmless and normal, until my previous gf told me differently.





Sometimes it's innocent like me leaving a ';You look beautiful today'; note, or sometimes I think it goes too far, as a co-worker/friend after a bit of flirting asked me to rub her thighs because she was cold.





So how often do friends flirt? Or should they flirt?How often do friends flirt with each other?
Flirting is open to interpretation. It's definition is different to everyone. If i'm single, i see no problem with hugs and kisses on the cheek or cuddling to keep warm, none of my girl friends had a problem with it. But i wouldn't do any of those things, except maybe hugs, when i'm not single...it would be disrespectful to my significant other. I always cmpliment my girl friends and how they look, laugh when they say something funny, smile...i don't see any of that as flirting and my fiancee could care less that i do it.





It's normal to be affectionate and nice to close friends to a certain point...at least as far as i'm concerned.How often do friends flirt with each other?

if your single go right ahead flirt as much as you want.


but if you are in a relationship do'nt. it'll make your girlfriend feel like she is less important like she's just another one of the girls aNnd nothing special trust me my ex boyfriend as of yesterday was the same as you. and i took his **** for a year or more cause i thought he would get better at it
its harmless until its phisical, or emotional. if u just are complimenting her then its fine
