There's this guy that I'm interested in. We met through my high school friends and hung out few times as a group. We are not a close friends yet. I'm slowly approaching him.





I see him all the time at the gym and I always say hi and start conversation. My friend said he is shy, but he's nice, and always smiles when we have eye contact.





If I text him he never ignores it and we sends text back and forth for the whole day. BUT he never initiate it first though :p





Well anyway, how do I flirt with him??? I don't want to bother him at the gym so we always say few conversations but my friend advised me to just approach and bother him and read the sign if he is annoyed..LOL

If he is the shy type then your describing him correct. Shy guys generally aren't the ones who make the first move on anything! But by him smiling and never ignoring you text shows that he likes you, but he's not exactly sure how to come out and just say it. Trust me if you give him some time, he'll open up y'all will be best friends or going out in no time! well, you've never flirted before? Well, the thing is think about what you know about him, what he likes, and how close you can be with him, wordplay is an easy kind of flirting, just dont truly do it in texts unless you already are, I'm 18 and for some reason I dont like that. Just think what you would do and how you would do it.








He may just be shy in person, like me, so phone or texts might be the option,
TO me I get my feelings out better by text or over the phone not in person. So just ask him do he find you interesting or ask him questions like, Do I look pretty today or Do you like my hair. Once he answer the question if he smile he likes you if he don't he's not that interested.
it sounds like your a bit shy to so if your interested you need to make the move to get things going let him know that your interest in him find him cute and take from there.he will tell you he's not interested or quit bothering me either way you know how he feels. you will either hook up or you will find somebody else.

Honestly, it's that easy. Just ask him if he'd like to grab coffee some time or something innocent like that. Your friend is right. You won't be able to know how he feels about you until you make the first move. After all, you already said he was a shy type.





Besides, the worst that could happen is that you get rejected. And in the long run, that's not really a bad thing. Think of it this way, it's better to know one way or another, even if he's not interested, so you can move on and find someone else who genuinely is!
