What is your definition of a flirt?

I know someone probably asked this before but what's your definition of a flirt. My friends make me feel like a ho because theyre always saying how i flirt with other guys when i have a boyfriend.

One example was when I told them I was fighting with this boy in a room. Just because we were by ourselves play fighting my friends twisted it around and was like oh wat kind of fighting like wrestling because he ended up on the floor and anytime I pass him i have to hit him or sum ****.What is your definition of a flirt?
Oh girl!!! Don't listen to your friends!!! they dont know anything

FLIRT YOUR HEART OUT!!!

Flirting is... touching, smiling, giggling, blowing kisses, tiving attention, changing around *him*... etc...What is your definition of a flirt?
You kind of know when you're flirting when the people around you can feel the sexual tension between the two. Like... the constant smiling or touching or laughing together. I flirt sometimes without realizing, but I'm no ho. I love my boyfriend and he's the only one I flirt with and MORE. I never cheat (start kissing, let them touch me on my ';private'; areas, cuddle with them, etc). My boy's the only one who can do that to me. I know I'm faithful, but I'm a girl, and I can't help but be playful sometimes :]
it's not your fault you're an easygoing person, you're cool. You're just being yourself so don't worry about what others think. flirting is only when your boyfriend doesn't appreciate what you're doing. For example people consider kissing on the cheek and hugging a guy as a hello, flirting because you have a boyfriend. In the case of wrestling with the guys, if you did that before and are just having fun, then there shouldn't be a problem.
I think if you flirt with someone you don't really like. I think you are being a flirt, but I could be wrong

im a flirt. :(

Okay so my best friend is a big flirt.. and?

I was hanging out with the guy I'm in love with and my best friend was there too. It was the first time I'd seen him in a month and a half and it was the last time I will ever get to see him because he is going to a different high school, and that night was the night I was gonna tell him how I felt. We could only hang out with him for 10 minutes because it was getting late. I kept trying to talk to him and flirt and everything, but my best friend was flirting with him the entire time, and she knew how I felt about him and how excited I was to see him and she knew that I was gonna tell him how I felt tonight, but she kept flirting even when I told her to be quiet to I could talk to him. And she has her own boyfriend anyway! (he wasn't with us at the time) yet she still flirts with the guy I am in love with. What to I do to tell him how I feel and how do I tell my ';best friend'; how she messed it up for me?

%26amp;%26amp; I have liked this guy for a year, and I know he likes me too but I never got the chance to tell him that i feel the same way. And I don't wana do it thru a text message /:Okay so my best friend is a big flirt.. and?
i think your ';best friend'; is not a go0d friend too you cus that is dirty that she knew how you felt and she still did it.:/

you should find a better friend and replace her.:D

and the guy call him and tell him what you feel, or text him if he wants to hang out with you then you tell him.:D

i hope i helped.

go0d luckOkay so my best friend is a big flirt.. and?
okay well, that is pretty messed up of your friend, mabye she was trying to make you jelous, or she dosent want you to tell him how you feel for some reason . Tell your friend not to do that , and ask her why did she flirt with him if she knows you like him. And try to find a time when hes alone , or tell him to meet you some place so you can tell him, how you feel :)

good luck:)
well, dont do it through a text, thats not as cool, or ';romantic';

any way, your friend was flirting with him? are you sure? could she just naturally be a flirty person?

tell HER how you felt that it felt like she was back stabbing you,

and then call your ';significant other'; up, and ask and see if he wants to hangout over the weekend, and go see a movie or something. then while your there afterward, tell him. =D
you spoke to your ';friend';? SLAP THAT WITCH.

and about him, talk to him and tell him that you are sorry for how she acted with him. but you also have to see if he liked it. if he was cool with her flirting with him and seemed to go along with it, then he is not worth it.

anyhow,, talk to him and set that girl straight!
Call him!

or ask him to meet you somewhere for an hour.

And tell your best friend that if she was really your best friend she wouldn't have ruined your chance with this this guy.
Try to hang out with him again and DO NOT take your friend with you.

I also think you need to get a new best friend :D She sounds horrible. More like an enemy.
just call him. nd tell ur friend tht she has a bf nd tht u wanna b wit this guy but she might hav messed it up for u.

just b honest wit him. tell him how u feel.
Ask your friend why she's doing this.

Tell her boyfriend. Flirt with him. That'll piss her off.
Do it in person its the best way

Good Luck %26lt;3
you should murder your friend
One of my best friends is a complete flirt and she flirts with all of the guys i like. Its super annoying but the thing is she's not even aware that she does it. Your friend might be the same and just be a natural flirt. Tell your friend how she acts and specific things she can do to stop it or just don't bring her along next time. Texting is actually fine as an ice breaker. ask if he wants to hang out sometime or go on msn or something and then do it there. best of luck :)
call hiim and ask if you guys can meet somewhere

if he cant then tell him on the phone

first tell him that you wanted to tell him something that night you were with him but you couldnt because you best friend was flirting with him the whole night and you couldnt get a word out..

and you were bummed and couldnt keep it in so thats why you had to tell him over phone...(say the part about the phone if you called him and cant meet up with him)

then tell him how you feel

hope things work out :]

  • Going out with a friend, to flirt or not to flirt?

My sister's boyfriend's brother blurted out to my sister that he wanted to get to know me (i had never met him,but seen pics) he apparantly was going on about how my daughter would be treated like a princess (he has seen my daughter many times and likes her ) and he was saying how he has a girlfriend now in a jokey way...problem is i went to meet him at my sisters house and i totally messed it up (i will spare u the details) anyway i was gutted.

anyway i asked my sister to ask him does he wanna go to the cinema or something, he said yes and we are gunna go and try bingo (dont laff as i thought its different) but he also told my sister how he wanted me as a friend first to see how it goes, and that he wants a female friend in his life.

i'm confused as previously he said he wanted me now only as a friend.

What do i do when i go bingo should i flirt? or just treat him as a friend?

also could you explain why he wants a friend?

Anyway i know my question is long but please do your best to give me the best advice...Thank you for taking the time out to read this :)Going out with a friend, to flirt or not to flirt?
get your flirt on..but dont over do it..it might turn him offGoing out with a friend, to flirt or not to flirt?
hmmm. I would see how you guys get along, see how the vibe is. wait for him to set the tone. idk, maybe he just wants a one nighter ,as guys dont usually want friends that are girls, its rare. just dont stress, play it by ear. or maybe you guys will hit it off. its worth a try, right?
too bad you didn't give us details of what went on that night we might be able to help you more but maybe he is afraid to ask you because he is afraid of rejection
It sounds like he'd get to know you better before embarking on a relationship with you (that's very respectful and considerate to both you and your daughter). He does sound interested, but wants to take things slow so no one (you, your daughter or him) get hurt. When you meet up with him, don't try to focus on whether or not you should 'date' him. Have fun. Use the opportunity to get to know him better, like he suggests. You'll either end up with a great friend or possibly the man of your dreams.

    My best friend; total flirt?

my best friend caitlin always always flirts with every guy she meets the could be from teachers to toddlers if its a human with a package she flirts. But its so its getting obnoixous, i caught her basically cheating on her boyfriend (her boyfriend happens to be my long time best guy friend his names ben) who which i actually have a huge crush on. So its taking all of me not to tell ben, but i dont want to hurt him.

she was on his lap talking to him outside the school, i swear they were about to make out when i walked over they jumped up. To add even more to that caitlin has stole every single guy that i have liked from me. I will even tell her i like that guy alot, and she sweep him off his feet and go and ';hook up';. Anyways how do i tell her nicely that she is the biggest flirt in the entire world (but because i have already done that) how do i tell her it has to stop that it is not okay, cause she thinks it is. oh and should i tell ben?My best friend; total flirt?
Explain it exactly as you did on here to Caitlin. Sometimes stating the whole lot in one go is enough to get people to realise what they're doing. I'd put quite a lot of emphasis on her sitting on that guy's lap though, your best guy friend doesn't deserve that. I'm not sure if you should tell him about her and that guy though, because if it ends between them over that and then you tell him that you have a huge crush on him he might think that it wasn't true, or that you did it so that you could be with him instead, or something.

I'd tell him how you feel about him if I were you, but not about Caitlin and that guy... A little while before you say everything to Caitlin as well so that it doesn't seem like everythings happening too quickly for him if she takes unplanned action (freeing him for you) :)

Not the best wording ever :/

Good luck :)My best friend; total flirt?
Don't tell Ben. He has to be blind if he doesn't realize what she is like. That's his problem. And why are you friends with this idiot girl who is screaming for attention every second ?? go find a new friend !! and dump her.
    Your call.

    I'd tell him.

Not a nice best friend if she steals all your boyfriends.

Is my friend flirting with my boyfriend? PLEASE help!!?

My bf and I are having a great relationship, so it's not like I'm scared that she will take him away...but it sincerely annoys the HECK out of me....

    - She'll call me when I'm hanging out with him, and when I say I have to go, she says, ';I FEEL SO LEFT OUT!'; (was she supposed to be included in the first place? no....)

    - She constantly messages him to say hi, and tells me she wants to see him in person some time

    - She suspiciously tells me that she doesn't think he's the right guy for me, when he's done nothing wrong...

    - She always talks to me about him (I call her, and the first thing she asks is, ';So how were you and him today?';

Am I just being paranoid? If not, should I tell her about my concerns....? THX, serious answers only pleaseIs my friend flirting with my boyfriend? PLEASE help!!?
She wants your man and that isn't right. I don't think she's much of a friend and she shouldn't try to put you down because she's jealous of youIs my friend flirting with my boyfriend? PLEASE help!!?
at least she is calling you and not your bf
Well your being paranoid for a good reason that sounds pretty bad i would just ask her straight up have you ever liked him or something like that just to see what she says and if she does like him then she is a bad friend so.....you should get rid of her unless shes your bestfriend then just talk it out
well sorta yes because i use to flirt with my bffs bf and i did these things sometimes except for telling her hes not right for her and the i feel so left out! check and see if he flirts back? maybe they might like each other but sometimes people can be flirty and not even like the person my friends like tht ';really flirty'; so yea and do they both talk alot?does she constantly talk about him every second?does he talk about her?
ask her, if she sayd yes then tell her she needs to back up, way up....!

    best of luck!
    shes jealous

How do i tell my friends he's mine?

Every time that my friends and my boyfriend are in the same room my friends flirt like crazy with him, even my gay friend makenzie(yes he's a dude). One girl Izzy said that she was going to take him away frome me and the first time i heard this i thought she was kidding but then she said she was dead serious. How do i tell he to back off.How do i tell my friends he's mine?
I would think they'd be your friends for a reason. I'd be straightforward. Even joking is disrespectful and if they are your friends they should respect your opinion. (They should respect it without having to be told, but they may not think they're doing anything wrong)How do i tell my friends he's mine?
I would say you should start distrusting in their friendship towards you.

I think my friend flirts with any guy that might like me? B**** ?

At school theres a guy we hang round with, Im in an older year than them both and shes known him longer...

Every time I joke around by saying Oh So-and-so is hot I'd tap that Shed instantly reply U cant so-n-so is mine... shes says it in a joking way but she says it so much it's hardly a joke anymore.

    Anyways, back to this guy...

Ive recently notice his being really nice to me, I mean his a nice guy but he never bags me out like he does to the other girls... e.g. Fat jokes...

I think shes picked this up too. Now shes flirting with him like she wants him!

Shes always the one with the boyfriend, she's never single for long.

Plus she already has two guys waiting, like, all she has to say is jump and theyll say how high?! - Do you know that saying?

What can I do? I mean even if this guy does like me I don't want to go out with him, his more like a brother to me... well not a brother I hate my brother. but you know what I mean....

It's like she must shut me down bout every guy I likeI think my friend flirts with any guy that might like me? B**** ?
    Honey, she's not your friend.

I've heard about lots of situations like this, and I've witnessed just as many. There are many reasons for why your ';friend'; could be doing this to you. She may be jealous or insecure. Or she may simply like being the one who has everything, while you tag along behind her. Whatever her motives, they don't sound good.

I would try talking to her. If the situation doesn't improve, I'd advise you to drop her. As for the guy-keep up the friendship.

Is my friend flirting with me?

One of my friends can be a little touchy-feely sometimes. I love everything about them, but I'm a person who's protective of their space and who prefers not to touch people too much unless I'm romantically involved with them. For example, whenever we hug, he'll make this happy moaning noise some people make when they haven't seen a person in a long time and hug them, but he makes it often when we hug. Also, when we pull apart, he'll still have his arms around me so that we're still close and talk to me like that, and it makes me uncomfortable. Also he'll find reasons to touch me, like link arms while we're walking but rub my arm a little with his hands and keep linking up when we walk after I drop it, or hold my hands when I'm telling him about a personal problem or if I'm feeling distressed. I've already ask him if he likes me and he's said no, so I figured he may just be an affectionate person, but the prolonged contact makes me really uncomfortable. I've made it clear I don't like him, both by mentioning it and by body language (pulling away when he attempts to hold me close after hugging, dropping his hand and putting space between us). How can I get more space without hurting his feelings or making things awkward? Is my friend flirting with me?
Sit down and have a full on conversation with him about whats going on.

He could just be one of those touchy-feely people, or when you pop the question on him, he feels weird and says no.Is my friend flirting with me?
just tell them that your uncomfortable. say that you dont really like a lot of body contact like that because its too close. and yes he is flirting but just because he flirts doesnt mean he likes you trust me
    maybe he's gay

  • How to tell my friend im cool with ...?

    Hey!

Ok so, i really like this guy but he doesn't like me so nothings ever going to happen. My friend flirts with this guy a lot and i think she really likes him too but is too afraid to tell me because she thinks i'll be hurt by it, i also know that he totally loves her. How can i tell her that i am ok if she wants to ask him out?

also, if i am wrong about her liking him she will get all annoyed with me (i don't know it's just how she is) , how can i ask her politely without her getting annoyed ?

Thanks soo much for any help !

:) XHow to tell my friend im cool with ...?
Maybe just say something casually to her like - ' if you do like ...... im cool if you ask him out/like him' That way your not assuming she likes him just thinking from her behaviour that she might. I guess her getting annoyed with you is just a risk your going to have to take, if you say something. How to tell my friend im cool with ...?
You should never let a guy come in between a friendship, and you deffintley shouldnt act like your cool with it, because that will hurt even more when something does happen between them. Talk to her, and tell her how you feel, her reaction will prove if she is a true friend or not, if she says she will back of, then she is a true friend, and if she continues to flirt with him, let her go, because obviously your guys friendship isnt as important to her as it is to you.
Your ';friend'; flirts with the same guy she knows you like and your concerned that she'll be upset if you tell her its okay with you if she asks him out?

If he ';totally loves her'; he'll ask her out on his own. You don't need to give her your permission.
shes ur friend!! she wont be annoyed!!

just say to her randomly.. look... he likes you.. and hes a nice guy.. ask him out..

that way ur making out its him.. rather than mentioning her!

    EDIT: please answer mine? http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/ind鈥?/a>
Tell the guy that your friend likes him, see if he is intersted, then let nature do its thing and ALSO tell your friend you like some one else, but dont tell her a name..
    say ';dont be annoyed with me but its ok if you wanna ask him out';

    say this with your mouth.

My boyrfriend's friends flirt with him help?

My boyfriend has alot of bestfriends 2 of them are girls. he liked one of them before we started dating and the girl had no intrest in him and never flirted with him. shes not pretty not being trying to be mean. And all of a sudden when we start dating she always flirts with him and asks him to go a bunch of places with her he just acts like leave me alone. and She always asks how i am and how we are doing as a couple why is she flirting with him like this its pissing me off big time do other girls do this?My boyrfriend's friends flirt with him help?
she is obviously a whore in search of attention. But be careful, something similar happened to me and the flirting turned into cheating to being dumped for it. Put your foot down and let your position on this flirting be known. Tell the girl you dont appreciate her flirting with your boyfriend. And you slap your boyfriend and let him know he is wrong for letting his best friends flirt with him, especially in your face!! Thats straight disrespect. Let them know you wont tolerate this flirting. BTW, dont be sassy with the girl, be a lady, affirmative. Know the difference. Hope this helpsMy boyrfriend's friends flirt with him help?
My best guess is that since he has a g/f she can have fun being with him and flirting and not worry about ever having the responsibility of being his g/f.

Maybe U should make her your friend so she will get her attention and affection from you instead of trying to get it from ur boyfriend.
maybe she dosen't like u and is trying to look out for him. Sorry if that was mean. She might be trying to scare you away because she dosen't like you with him. I know she is handling it all wrong if that is the case. I know i would protect my best guy friend. Just talk it over with her- gently.
i have the same effing problem. this stupid slut

keeps trying to get down my boyfriends pants.

what ever you do dont confront him about it.

i tried it... and my boyfriend just yelled at me

saying their just friends and she doesnt do that.

and im about to take this trashy ***** and rip her

face off and sh!t down her throat. but guys will never

admit to girls hitting on them. guys suck =[

but i think shes just jealous like this girl im talking about

    is.
    same problem over here!

she liked the attention when he liked her.

and she doesn't like you probably because you're way prettier than her.

and she wants to make you mad.

    i hate it!!!!!!!

    haha, totally feel your pain.

girls do that because some are stupid.

    i would never do that.

    ajsdflqjsg

but that's the kind of slutty girls some are.

    they want attention.

    ah, felt good to vent.

    thanks
She's an attention whore. Tell your boyfriend it bothers you and have him talk to her. You have every right to feel strange about it.
    jealousy?

    yea tons do

My friend keeps flirting with a guy a really like. What should I do?

There's this really sweet guy at school who kinda seems on and off about liking me back. I can understand his hesitation since my brother almost ran over him as a joke ( no one got hurt) but my friend keeps flirting with him even though she doesn't like him and knows how much I like him. How do I tell her to lay off?My friend keeps flirting with a guy a really like. What should I do?
first off these type of situations never end good

u need to reevaluate ur friendship wuts more important this guy or ur friend

and if the guy is flirting back wit u and ur friend he is an as.s hole and u shuldnt lose a friend over it

mayb he isnt into u as much as u are into him dont flip on it move on to the next guy

and if that is the situatu\ion try not to hold a grudge againt ur friend cus lik i said these situations never end well....Key thing is to not lose ur composureMy friend keeps flirting with a guy a really like. What should I do?
Very simple- b*tch slap that chick! Or better yet, go ask your crush out! While she's flirting %26amp; being silly, you can NAB him!!! See if he'd like to go out. Tell him you like him. Don't hold back! (THEN go knock the snot out of your *friend*.) Some friend....
Tell her that you would appreciate it if she would not flirt with him, since she knows you are interested. Tell her that as her friend, you would do the same for her.
i've got so many friends like that. just like, i don't know.. you obviously have to say something to her.. but i'd kinda hint it to her.

How do i distract my friend when shes flirting with the guy i like?

im in junior high and my best friend always flirts with the guy i like and its sooo annonying so my new teqniue is to jump in and distract her when she flirts with him. . .

i have a phone i can say the distractions someones txtinq me but who and how i need major help!!.How do i distract my friend when shes flirting with the guy i like?
If she flirts with the guy you like that means she isn't your best friend simple as that. She would respect you if she WAS your best friend and - hands off and not try to prove she can take him away from you - this sounds like competition! How do i distract my friend when shes flirting with the guy i like?
Why don't you tell you friend how you feel about him and how it makes you feel when she flirts with him.
    what the hell is txtinq?

And just show him your boobs.
give him a hj while she flirts
First of all Are you willing to save the relationship no matter what? You have to weigh and consider things before making the first move

Do special things that this Girl can't do , so that any of her attempts won't have any effect , try to make sure that your boy friend really likes you so that whatever that girl do won't affect too , try to show her how much he cares and loves you and that will gets on her nerve and stop flirting , overwhelm his life , don't allow any Gaps , so that she won't have any way of method or track to his attention ,

and finally if he were not like the normal guys who likes to be flirted she won't have any effect on you
are you sure she your friend because don't cross certain line and that one of them

Is my best friend flirting w/me?

We're really close, but he does things that make me wonder:

-we text all night, everynight + study together everyday

    - he waits for me during breaks, afterclass, and if we're walking anywhere.

-he always sits next to me or finds someway to include me in whatever he's doing.

-he's brought pancakes into school for me and he's lent me his Ipod and CDs overnight and his jacket when I get cold.

-A few months ago I was talking about how holding hands with someone helps when I have a panic attack and he responds with ';let's insite a panic attack'; what did that mean? Did he want to hold my hand?

-Today we're trying to study and he's being stupid so I said ';Let's get back to work or I'm gonna get all Hermione on your ***'; (meaning I was going to get serious and study) and he says, ';oohh can I be Ron?'; it sounds stupid, but it's obvious that Hermione and Ron get together -

Classmates are starting to make comments about how we're always together..

What up with him? does he like me?Is my best friend flirting w/me?
It sure sounds like it. But the real question you should ask is do you think you like him? It looks like the signs are obvious for this guy though.

Now, if you aren't attracted to him in that way, don't distance yourself from him. Just say thank you for everything he's done and carry on being his friend, and make it clear that you REALLY REALLY just see him as a best friend. It'll be subtle yet straightforward. Plus it will kinda crush his chance of cornering you and spilling his feelings to you.

Now, if you Do feel the same way for him, then maybe try flirting back. Don't rush into things. It'll be slow, but it'll let him know that you are interested, just not right that very instant! LOL.

Another situation is that you aren't attracted to him and suddenly he just blurts out his love for you....yeah, there's going to be an awkward silence, but tell him you are ubber flattered and then let him know that, yeah, you really like having him around. But you cherish your guys friendship so much that you wouldn't want things to get ruined if you took a chance on getting together. It'll tell him that you don't want things to go any further because you really like where you're at.

How can I stop flirting? I have a boyfriend and everyone keeps telling me I flirt with my eyes.?

According to my guy friends I flirt with them with my eyes, and I totally don't even notice. They say ';You give us looks that dare us to touch you, looks that make it seem like you want to be wanted, and some guys do, some don't'; I don't even realize I do this, and was wondering how I could stop. Thanks a bunch for your help! How can I stop flirting? I have a boyfriend and everyone keeps telling me I flirt with my eyes.?
Tell them to get over it...they can handle themselves :P You're not doing anything at all. It's like guys saying that a girl was asking to be mistreated because she wore revealing clothesHow can I stop flirting? I have a boyfriend and everyone keeps telling me I flirt with my eyes.?
    Wear sunglasses. HAHA

    Sorry, that's not funny.
    lol wow

As long as you don't do anything, don't worry about it.

In love with my best friend?

hi. im fourteen. i know your probably thinking this is stupid since im only fourteen but there is this guy named foster. we have been best friends for over two years. for most of those two years he had a huge crush on me. i didnt even give him the time of day. me and him feel like brother and sister. hes always been there for me. everybody says that we act like a couple and they ask me if i like him. i can honestly say im not sure.. i went out with one of his best friends for a little over three months. my bf broke up with me because he thought that my best friend flirted with me too much. when ever i talk to him (my best friend) he always talks about how girls dont like him back. i find myself frustrated when he says those things because i feel that he is too obsessed with liking the girls he does that he doesnt even notice me. he is the type of guy i have always wanted.. the cute nerd thats really sweet and caring. he tells me im pretty but then he always turns it around saying stuff about how him being ';ugly'; he has never had a gf so idk if thats the reason why.

i had a really random dream that i fell down the stairs and he picked me up and i died in his arms. all my dreams end up with him...In love with my best friend?
To be honest, I don't really see a problem. Other than the fact that you actually think you're in love at 14. But otherwise, this guy likes you, you like him, you two obviously get along very well, go for it. If you're worried about the potential damage to your friendship, why not instead focus on the potential joy the relatioship could bring? You don't want to regret not taking this chance. I've been there, done that before. Regret's a *****. So go seize the day and tell him flat out that you like him. Chances are, he'll think its the luckiest day of his life.In love with my best friend?
IMHO, you are the one who is secretly obsessing over him. That, my dear, is nothing to be ashamed of.

Is he currently seeing anyone now? If not, then this is the perfect time to make a move. This chance rarely comes twice, and it takes a long time to fall in love with your best friend.

You're fourteen, but your words sound more mature. I believe that you will do the right thing and march up to him and reveal your feelings to him. You know what they say - it's best to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all.

Whatever the outcome may be, take this as one of life's lessons.

So yea my friend isn't talking to me for some reason?

i met this girl like 2 months ago..... we hang out a few times and then went on a trip to an island for a night............ first day was good but 2nd day was bad due to my planning and her girl problem...... so i was pretty non talkative that what i do when i am moody.........the next day i call her to hang with me and my friends.... she picked up my call and saying she'll call me after she think about it but apparently she called my friend and told him her decision.......then the next day we all went to play badminton...... i was still in my non talkative mood but i was getting jealous because she was talking so much to this friend..... flirting and giving backrubs....... i kinda showed my jealousy a little bit by talking to her about it in a joking way.......like how come she more interactive with him than with me.....mind you she doesnt speak english well and those 2 speak the same 2nd language......but yea after that day i called her and text her and no reply for awhile now......what did i go wrong? and any solution to heal this up because she leaving in like a few days back to her homeland foreverSo yea my friend isn't talking to me for some reason?
    Hi there,

Friendships and relationships are underpinned by principles of trust, honesty, loyalty, integrity and respect amongst other criteria in equal measure by each party to that friendship. Of these trust is not a God given right but needs to be earned over a period of time.

Whilst we may make friends with people for one or more reasons, we have to start with the assumption that their values, ethics and code of morality are pretty much in keeping with our own. After all if you are anti-drugs you鈥檇 hardly want a drug addict as a bosom friend. Similarly we have to take for granted that the principles I鈥檝e mentioned are in place. Just as it takes time to build up trust, so too time will enable you to evaluate whether the principles I鈥檝e mentioned are characteristic of the person.

A friendship is a two way traffic system with give and take on both sides. Compromise may be called for on occasions.

You need to loosen up a bit and show more interest in her without dwelling on what makes you moody.

Practise becoming fascinated by her Ask her about herself, and concentrate when she answer you. Remember what she tells you about herself so you can talk about it later, or on another occasion.

Great socialisers make other people feel comfortable and interesting. How do they do that? By being really, genuinely interested in other people. If you are talking to someone and you feel boring or inferior, ask why that is. Is it really all your fault?

Practise using fewer 'personal pronouns' when you talk about things. Sentences beginning with 'I' are not only a turn-off for the listener, they also keep the focus of attention on you, which increases shyness. (Note: Of course, part of friendship is giving away things about yourself, but only when you feel it is appropriate to do so.)

It's a common misconception that good conversationalists always have amazing stories to tell and a well of jokes to dip into. In fact, what most people want from conversation is dialogue and interaction, not just one-way traffic.

A good way of creating this flow of dialogue is by asking questions in a specific way. For example, questions like: ';Do you live in London?'; can be answered with a ';Yes'; or ';No'; reply - not very good for nurturing conversation. Whereas: ';Where do you live?'; has scope for a longer, and hopefully more interesting reply. This is an open-ended question.

    As a general rule:

Questions starting with 'are' or 'do' are closed questions, generating yes or no answers.

Questions starting with 'what', 'where', 'which', 'who' and 'when', are open questions, which need fuller answers.

If you're looking for something a little deeper and more involved then you could try out the probing questions. These start with words like 'how', 'why' and 'in what way'. But make sure you find the person interesting before you do this, as it might mean saying goodbye to an evening talking to others!

    1. Don't talk too long without pausing for a reaction. More than a minute is usually too long. Forty seconds is ideal.

    2. Never contradict or flatly disagree with the other person. It's an implied insult.

    3. Don't be too forceful or emphatic in stating your opinions until you learn the other person's attitude.

The ability to talk well can be cultivated.

You need to show genuine interest in the person if your conversation is to be successful. Interest can be focused on the subject matter of the conversation or the person. Showing interest in the person is by far the better way as people generally like to talk about themselves.

A one to one conversation is easier than group conversation. In one to one conversation there are two main aims:

    1. To get to know the other person.

    2. To reveal some things about yourself.

Generally these aims should not be aimed at directly.

Attitudes to cultivate in dialogue are:

    Interest in the person

    Interest in the subject

    Friendliness

    Sincerity

    Candour

    Helpfulness

Be patient with her particularly if she is returning to he homeland and you wish to maintain contact. So yea my friend isn't talking to me for some reason?
Don't shun your friends. She is not going to be kind to you now. You should beg her to listen to your apology. Vow never to dis-respect her like that again. It was childish of you.
unless you have connection with her while she is in her homeland, i would just forget about it since you probably won't ever talk/see/meet her ever again in you life.

    good luck..

Whats up with my friend... she is acting up?

ok well ive been friends with this girl for two years and i really really liked her, but she was dating a guy who cheats on her but she still sticks around..i finally told her how i felt, she just didnt say a word..then she stopped talking to me for a year.. later we kinda started to talk again just as friends..i met a new girl name bree and we hit it off, but my friend is really rude to her..and when we all hang out my friend flirts heavily with me, and seems to get jealous when im hanging out with bree...so why is she acting like this???Whats up with my friend... she is acting up?
Your friend is trying to have it both ways. The fact that she stopped talking to you when you told her how you felt tells me that she's a little selfish and immature.

Now in the time that you two have gotten back together as friends, she hasn't made any moves to be your girl until you meet this other girl. I don't think she's interested in you, I think she just wants to have you around as leftovers. I wouldn't let her do it to me.

She's being territorial, but that's how people behave when they think they have an object, not when they respect their friend and are treating them like a person.

Cut her out of your love life, she's a stinker.

Hope this helps!Whats up with my friend... she is acting up?
I'm assuming she may be single now? Sounds to me as if she is jealous of your girlfriend. I wouldn't tolerate her behavior with your girlfriend. If she was your friend she would have respect for you and be nice to your gf whether she liked her or not for you. If you really like this girl Bree stay with her. Your friend had her chance. Odds are you maybe down the road if your single again you to could get together. Being mean to people only makes a person ugly no matter how beautiful they may be. I'd tell her to knock that atitude off with your gf. Much luck!
She's probably covetous. Jealous of Bree, perhaps. It's rather obvious, if she gets mad about you being with Bree.

Help advice!!!!! Would you want to know if your friend wasn't a friend?

Here's the deal. My husband has a friend who he pretty much uses for whatever he can get. the friend doesn't know that most times my husband has helped him it was because of me telling him to or offering to do it myself. He is also jealous of this freind and acts all competetive when we are in the room together. The friend flirts with me alot. My husband doesn't let me talk with this friend without him there. Now we are getting divorced and I feel I can talk to whoever I want. Should I tell this friend that he has been used for several years? That who he thought was his friend wasn't- it was really me all along. I don't know how he might take it because I'm sure my husband has made me out to be the bad person, which is easy to do since he never let me talk. This friend is a nice person and I don't want him to get taken advantage of if I wont be around anymore. Also I like the guy and would like a chance with him. Any advice?Help advice!!!!! Would you want to know if your friend wasn't a friend?
Let's be real here... the true issue is you want a chance with this guy. My guess is that your true motivation is probably to back at your husband by dating his friend. Which is petty and stupid.

Really if your husband and this guy are friends, you don't have a chance. Most guys believe ';bros before hoes'; and really what guy wants his friend's sloppy seconds? You need to just move on.Help advice!!!!! Would you want to know if your friend wasn't a friend?
If I was in your shoes I would act natural and focus on yourself for right now. You are an adult and so is your exes friend. If he can't figure out he is being used then it doesn't mean you should swoop in and tell him. If you meet him accidentally then you could bring it up, but I wouldn't do it in a way were you look like your trying to ruin their friendship, like your a revengeful ex-wife type of thing. Because whatever your husband told him that you didn't hear could back fire onto you. If you like him and he likes you back then, you need to be completely open, but you also need to know yourself too. It sounds like the last relationship you were in was with a controlling sociopath, I ran across one myself. I really think you should find a counselor that can help you bring your spirits up, helping on loving yourself. My biggest mistake is that I didn't do that and I kept trying to find love in someone else and ended up go for the same type of guys. Just know that you'll be alright and surround yourself with activities that make you happy and people that make you feel good. Peace and prayers with you. :)
I would talk to him.Why not nothing to loose.Although this sort of happend to me latley and the ';friend'; sided with the x?Is this a male thing?I am wondering. The best friend just totally quit talking to me after we were fine with each other.

    Give it a shot.
